Hi my name is Andy and I am the person behind this blog. Let me introduce myself: I am a Dutch homebrew fanatic with a passion of trying new things. Over the years I shared pictures of my adventures on Instagram and that is where homebrewstories began.
To get more exposure I started using tags that are used to repost the images I posted. Despite all the effort in using all the possible tags, nothing happened. All little bit disillusioned I was looking at other options to get the likes I want.
It all just started with a hashtag
I began to tag my posts with #homebrewstories. First as an experiment just to see what will happen. As expected I didn’t notice any special things. So I created an equally named account and started reposting the images that are tagged with homebrewstories and since then it started to grow.

Usages of the tag
My latests milestone was reaching the 10 K and I promised myself to start blogging about Homebrewing in English. And here we are. Unfortunately each day has 24 hours and reposting all those nice Instagram posts are too time consuming. I have to set some priorities to manage my time better. And this means that the Instagram account is receiving a little bit less attention at this moment.
